Heidrick & Struggles Names Managing Partner Of Global Venture Capital Practice
Heidrick & Struggles International has hired Jeff Markowitz who joins as Managing Partner of its Global Venture Capital Practice. As head of the specialized Venture Capital Practice, Mr. Markowitz will be responsible for senior-level searches within all areas of venture capital with particular emphasis on the technology sector. He reports to Todd R. Monti, Managing Partner of the Global Private Equity and Venture Capital Practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Markowitz was a partner and member of the executive committee of a national executive recruiting firm. During his twelve-year tenure with that firm, he helped to establish and build that firm's presence in Silicon Valley, managing a broad range of professional searches for private equity, venture capital clients as well as public companies. Earlier, he was a manager with the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche.
