Richard Wright Joins Archer Mathieson
Richard Wright has been appointed CEO at Archer Mathieson, replacing founder John Archer who recently left the business to pursue other interests.
In September 2010, Richard will join the main board of The Cornhill Partnership alongside Rob Walker, CEO, and Rob Allin, Group FD. The Cornhill Partnership was created in 2010 as the result of an MBO backed by Barclays Ventures, and currently consists of four recruitment businesses: Archer Mathieson; Euromedica, Correlate Search and BIE Interim Executive.
Richard established his reputation by building the mid market financial recruitment consultancy business Martin Ward Anderson from £1m revenues and 10 people in 1995 into a £50m business employing 225 people in 2009. As Chief Executive, Richard led the sale of the business to Randstad in 2005. Prior to Martin Ward Anderson. Richard worked with Michael Page International for 8 years in a variety of consulting and managerial roles.
