Stanton Chase announced that the global life sciences and healthcare practice revenues rose 25% for the 12 month period ending September 30, 2009. In addition, the number of global assignments increased by more than 6%.

The announcement was made by life sciences and healthcare global practice leader David Harap, and comes in a time when earnings in the industry have been much lower than previous years.

"The significant growth we have seen in the life sciences and healthcare sector was driven by a 60% increase in the number of CEO and COO assignments, while middle management searches dropped 30%," said Harap. "There was revenue growth in each of the four regions around the world, with North America revenue jumping 75%."

In North America, the Dallas, Austin and Baltimore offices showed the most growth and Germany lead for the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Overall, there was an increase in general management searches and a decrease in searches for human resources and finance executives.
